Megami Magazine March 2007 - Nanoha StrikerS Information

Although it is not quite March yet, Megami magazine continues to present upcoming news from the future in the present (I love confusing sentences). The purpose of this page is to share all the goodness that came from this issue of Megami, from the deliciously fanservicey posters to the interesting news (if there happens to be any).

This issue has a feature on StrikerS, the upcoming Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series (the 3rd one at that), and includes some noteworthy titbits. Note that I didn’t translate any of this myself; I just collected the information from /a/. But it’s still worth sharing.

— This is certainly very interesting and thurough information (well it is for me anyway). I think statistics like this further cement the accute description of Nanoha as shounen masked as mahou shoujo as the truth. The rankings seem to go alphabetically, which makes Carol stronger than the other new characters. I’m not sure what the + signifies precisely, but I think it infers that Nanoha and Fate are stronger than Hayate Ranking order: C->B->A->S, and SS is greater than S+ (thanks Skane). I find it appropriate that Hayate has taken on the leadership position; Nanoha’s and Fate’s personalities are far more suited to the ‘battlefield’. Of the new characters Tiana and Carol are the ones who interest me

I think Elio’s device is supposed to be “Strada”- the Belka system does have a history of naming things and people after cars. ^^

I’m hoping to see that Gothic Lolita Tsuruya poster in a higher resolution scan soon. :D “LOL-Fang-tan” in that frilly black thing… hmm.
