Fanart Digest #5
Everybody loves fanart .. when it’s good. Fortunately, for anime fans there are hordes of Japanese fans out there with the talented and dedication to bring us some great art of our favourite characters, pairings and persuasions. The relatively new online service Pixiv has been a really great resource for artists to share their creations and for fans to enjoy them, but not all western fans have the patience to navigate the Japanese and create an account there or the time to sift through it. With these posts I’ll attempt to post my picks for all the anime/manga I’m interested in weekly. Hopefully someone might find this useful or enjoyable!
Note: Gathering these images I’m of coursed bias towards my favourite characters and moe persuasions, but if anyone would like me to keep a look out for a specific character, pairing or theme (if it’s for one of the things I’m watching), just ask!

This is some super high-quality art! Just look at the detail on the gun. And the colour palette is awesome!
Shizume is actually a fairly boring character in the show but this is a damn classy pic. He’s got a Spike Speigel thing going on.
Funny group picture. Fittingly, Misaki’s new boss has ‘Golgo’ written on his head. Misaki herself is enduring some flowery yuri rapage [it's not rape if it's yuri], and I also got a giggle out of Suou’s bandages and angry expression (Hei abuse ;_;). Not sure why Kiko, the pink haired otaku/detective girl from the first season gets to show up. But it reminds me that I’d like to see her again ^^
I love all the detail in this cute portrait of Suou. Her hair is a bit messy and she looks childish. Kyaa~ she’s so pretty!

Hey washi, nice pics, and i particularly like pic5(darker than black), pic2(railgun) and pic2(sacred blacksmith) *right click and save* XD. Lisa is just pure moe, and her voice is rather special (just like how i luv yakumo’s voice when i first watched school rumble), which translates to me luving the ED as well. On the other hand, i just dun hav a thing for Cecily and Aria. I mean their character designs are definitely good but something feels missing, i apologize first if i offended any cecily/aria fanboys with this comment.
Have u read the manga “Bloody Monday”? Just thought that i would recommend it if u havent already read it and hav some free time on your hand to spare.

*RAAAAAAAAGGE* Haha, no that’s fine. Personally I don’t care much for Aria either. Cecily is the most moe for me but I agree, Lisa is utterly adorable! Her seiyuu has such a sweet and soothing voice, doesn’t she?

I really like the Blacksmith fanarts! But I was going to do some fanart for Sora no(Nymph) and Railgun, but when I went to my computer to scan the sketches I found that my printer/scanner was now dead…really pissed now.
